Hij werd geboren te Hamont op 1 maart 1919 en is dus 99 jaar geworden.<br \/>\nHij sloot zich aan bij het toenmalige Loo V.V. en speelde met het eerste elftal in de Vlaamsche Voetbalbond totdat de club zich weer opnieuw aansloot bij de Belgische Voetbalbond. Ook hier speelde hij in het eerste elftal tot ca. het seizoen 1948-1949.<\/p>\n<p>De uitvaartliturgie heeft plaats in de Sint-Laurentiuskerk  te Hamont op woensdag 28 maart om 10.30 uur, waarna de teraardebestelling op het Boskerkhof.<br \/>\nIn het uitvaartcentrum Severens, Houtmolenstraat 8 te Overpelt kan men aanstaande dinsdag van 17.00 tot 17.30 uur Toine een laatste groet brengen.<\/p>\n<p>KFC Hamont 99 biedt aan echtgenote Margurite en familie zijn oprechte deelneming aan.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bij de foto: Toine in het eerste elftal kort na het einde van WO II.
